Sensing Hazel's dilemma, Zack promptly shifted into his raptor form, only several times larger than he was normally. He had a long mane of feathers running down his spine, perfect for Hazel to hang on to. He flapped his powerful wings, churning up the air, and slowly lifted off of the ground.

Sadie transformed into a kitten and scampered across the pavement, passing Hazel with a flick of her tail to signal the girl to follow. She rounded corners at an alarming rate, and her claws scrabbled mercilessly on the blacktop. Finally, she dashed through the gate to camp and into the Councillor cabin. ((Skipping the gate.
