She scampered out of the room and did some more unnecessary acrobatics. She beckoned for Hazel to follow... And suddenly, she ran into a wall. She kept running, occasionally slamming into walls, and occasionally falling over, but eventually made it out.

He flapped his large wings experimentally, not quite liking the feeling of being several years younger, but he took off anyways. He would've looked up to see the smaller bird perched on top of his feathery head, but he feared that doing that would knock the small creature from his mane.
