Sadie Edwards Sadie snorted, suddenly finding this situation surprisingly funny. She rarely ever lost control of herself like that- and never around a friend. However, something about Hazel being a cat seemed rather comical.
"Yep, you are. Welcome to my world." Sadie braced herself for the waves of exhaustion that would soon follow the transformation of another, but they didn't come.
((Well this WILL be interesting. As I said, you can stay a cat as long as you want and retain any abilities/appearance changes from this you want, like maybe occasionally turning into a cat by accident, or randomly sprouting ears, or even be completely normal once you change back!))

((That sounds pretty cool!)) Hazel rotated her head to look at her sleek body. Her fur was dark, almost the color of charred redwood. She sat down hard, exhausted from the stressful night. "Well, I sure have a new appreciation for your transformations." She meowed. "This is...interesting."

Sadie Edwards "I bet you do. I'm used to it, though." She replied, a slight purr in her voice. "I'm not sure how to reverse it; the 'victim' always reverts after a while. Might be minutes, hours, or days. Depends on how willing you are. And you were saying, about Amber?" The werecat's voice wasn't angry anymore, just curious. How could she have transformed someone else without getting exhausted?

Hazel repeated what she had said before about the connection between Paige's disappearance and Amber's. "I'm really worried about what might happen if we just wait."

Sadie Edwards "Which is the advantage of being a cat. Nobody gives a damn about us, and most people are too afraid of us being strays who bite and'll transmit diseases. We could easily sneak out of camp and go rescue them." Then, Sadie noticed a slight silhouette at the door, and in a whisper, added, "Shhhh... Someone's there." A strange odor wafted into her super-sensitive nose. Not quite monster, but definitely NOT a camper. Kinda like the Gryphons that roamed Spiritwood.

"Can you let me in?" The small child asked, her hands clenching and unclenching. Her eyes were a pure beady black, even the scleras. She stood just outside of the entrance to the Apollo sub-cabin. Despite her child-like build, and her dirty face, the black-eyed child emitted a dark aura instead of the depressing mood one would expect from such a girl.

Hazel cursed, which sounded really weird coming out of her catish mouth. "Whatever you do, do not open that door Sadie. I've heard of these...things before." She whispered. "Right now, I would trade anything for opposable thumbs."

Sadie Edwards "Do I LOOK like I can open a door?" She argued, before promptly hopping out of an open window and gesturing at Hazel to follow, by flicking her black tail once. And then she bounded off into the night, heading towards the Spiritwood trail that would lead right to the City Gates. Approval or not, Sadie HAD to do this. She HAD to save Amber, and Paige. But not Zachary. He could die in a hole for all she cared.

"Okay, leave it for my siblings to deal with." She muttered. Hazel took one last longing look at her bed. Wait, where was her bow? It didn't really matter at that point. She quickly hopped onto the windowsill and out the window, following after Sadie.
((Same thing))
