Hazel realized that they all were getting nowhere with the regular attacking. Her eyes drifted to the stationary bucket of water that always sat by the fire...

Sadie Edwards Like Hazel, Sadie knew she wasn't getting anywhere with cuts and slashes. The blade passed right through the monster's fiery hide, and flames merely swirled out of the way and reformed. However, she was distracting the creature well enough. She licked her chapped lips and resisted the urge to wipe the sweat from her brow. Hurry up, guys. I can't do this much longer... She thought frantically, hoping that the telepathic abilities she had been training herself for kicked in and transmitted the message. Black was already peeking in at the edges of her vision.

Fiery Monster The fiery beast merely laughed, a rough, scratchy sound, at the sweaty campers. The scythe-cat was trying, without much success, to kill him with her large scythe. The fire-boy was trying to use fancy pyrotechnics, again without much success. Even the fancy black phoenix merely winded him. The claw-girl, as he nicknamed Hazel, was examining a bucket. Again, not much use against him. Unless... Water? That could hurt him, more than all else. Not kill him, but hurt him enough to force a retreat. But the campers would hunt him down..
Seeing that the scythe-cat was weakening, he barreled right over her and back into the forest.

Sadie Edwards Sadie was knocked over by the monster. Her eyes shut tightly, as if to block out the almost-blinding pain of her newly burned skin. Her scythe's handle fell on top of her, and the blade embedded itself in the grass a few inches from her face.

Korizaki was walking around the place until he got some kind of message from someone not too far away. Something to do with a fire monstery thingy ma bobber. So he got a nerby bucket, targeted the flamine best a few yards away, and used the special elemental attack, SPLASH! And the monster's flames started to die out as Korizoko exined the scene around him.

Hazel watched as the monster ran away, then got put out by a stranger in the distance. "Thanks!" She called out, rushing to Sadie's side.

"No problem," Korizoko said as he looked over at Shiro who was looking as the flames that seems to be black in some ways. The Go player walked over to the boy, "Shiro, have any idea what the black flame may be?"

Hazel evaluated the severity of Sadie's burns. They didn't look too life-threatening, but Hazel didn't want to take any chances. She hefted her friend into her arms and rushed to the Councilors cabin.
